Hani Hani
What people are saying
Great reviews but food not to our standards! There were 3 of us and we all concurred and had a consensus about the food. 2 poke bowls, both had mentioned about the cukes and sauce. The hani hani plate from the grill has great portion but the taste is lackluster. Staff was pleasant. Fast service.
Found this place on a whim when we’re craving for Poke Bowls on the way home to Seattle from Everett. The neighborhood was very dark and too quiet, we thought we were lost. But the Poke here is so rewarding! Great price and we can decide whichever proteins and toppings we want. Tasted awesome and fresh, too. We ended up ordering an extra to go.
First 5 star review for a raw fish restaurant. Although they have fantastic cooked food as well, with large portions. I was impressed by the chicken katsu, not just 1 flattened breast, I believe panko crusted, perfect for the kids who want "chicken nuggets" when I would enjoy fresh ahi, salmon, etc. Their bowls are no joke. I had to visit 4 times to see if they were actually this good each time. And yes, they were. I could not recommend one bowl or another, I ordered each one to see quantity and quality between spicy, and not. If you like Poke, or want to try any of their cooked options, you will not be disappointed. I would rate #1 quality, value, flavor in this price range. A+
Great place to eat Poke. They always have fresh raw fish and serve plenty of fish on the top of rice. (I recommend their "Geisha bowl"). Lunch special (Hawaiian plate and so on) are around $7.50 with reasonable portion. This location used to be famous for THAT "Grouchy chef" (French) & "Cafe Soreil" (Euro-Japanese style with good service), however, please don't expect this Hani Hani restaurant as those restaurants. It is like a good fast food place. They make your order quick. Should be great for your lunch break.
The food here is amazing and the portions are giant so bring your appetite. My only complaint about this place is the service. There is quite a lack of friendliness and and there is very little engagement which makes one feel like a bit of an inconvenience for being here. If you are willing to overlook the disengaging staff; bring your own favorite company and go for the good food! You won't be disappointed.
