Upon arriving check in was super quick and easy. Even was able to check in before the allotted 3pm time. Booked the room solely for the pool (indoor) that was advertised via Google only to arrive and find out it wasn’t even at this property. I had to use the net to clean the bugs and nastiness out of the pool before my daughter could even swim. Also, went to the snack area to get two small deals of ice cream. When I questioned why it was $20 the young lady (very pleasant) advised me she was told by her boss to let everyone know it was a convenience fee. I said a convenience fee? A convenience store isn’t even that expensive. To spend $200 on a room to have the BOSS tell his customers it’s a convenience fee.
Do not stay at this hotel. It is not safe. Our car got broken into and they do not have cameras that monitor the parking lot. When we reported it to the hotel staff, they said all they can do is extend our check out time by a few hours. Our room also smelled like pee and marijuana. The rooms are run down and scuffed up. DO NOT STAY HERE.
We had to ask for replacement towels. No room service for 2 day stay. No toilet paper in room. It was a short distance from the TX motor speedway. The breakfast was the only hilight!
We got an amazing 1st floor large room, awesome upgrade. Coworker dropped some large expensive work equipment that I needed to pickup and front desk was very helpful and patient. It was conveniently located and definitely the place to stay when back in the area.
I was hoping to give a five star review but 2 things about my room prevented that. I got a king suite which was absolutely gorgeous. However, the living room side thermostat wasn't working so it was sweltering in that room and cool in the bedroom. I also assume this room gets few stays because the toilet had no chain to flush!!! I never imagined I would have to test out the bathroom before getting settled. Unfortunately, I didn't realize my toilet issue until well after midnight. I was only staying one night but this seems like an issue that should have been corrected well before assigning the room.
