The woman at the front desk was EXTREMELY rude. Her rudeness wasn’t just for me, I witnessed her treat everyone like this. I think she was a manager or possibly a franchise owner so asking to speak with someone else would have been futile. The hallways, stairways, elevator, and most common areas were not air conditioned. Very muggy and uncomfortable. The carpet in the hallways looked to have been torn up and then not properly reinstalled. One of the reasons that we booked here was that they allowed pets. I always pick up after my dogs but once I did there were no exterior trash cans to throw the baggies away. Finally found an overfilled and stinky dumpster. After all that my biggest complaint is that the curtains in the room didn’t close. The very sheer thin curtains closed but not the thick ones that are supposed to block out the light. They were hung in a fixed position with no possible way to close them. For some reason there was an emergency crew in the parking lot for most of the night and the flashing lights flooded the room. Then the sun came up(room facing east). One of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had.
The hotel room was nice and cold, which is a plus, but I was coming off of a 16 hour shift from the hospital I got in around 7 AM and I know check out was at 12 between the hours of seven and nine am Four different workers came by and knocked on the door to see if anybody was in the room or when I was checking out. By the last worker I was fed up and I just left the hotel. I was only there for two hours, paid almost $150 and got no sleep. Just a waste of time and money. Also the AC doesn’t work in the hallways so the room floor was very slick and slimy.
We had a great time until my card was charged. When the gentleman at the front asked for my card I asked how much it was going to cost, he said $135. This evening when I checked my bank $177 was charged. Not a lot I can do about as I was not offered a receipt and mysteriously never received an email like he said I would.....that's my fault for believing him. Just make sure to double check what you're actually being charged. Also update your rooms with USB charging ports. First hotel I've been to in years that didn't have them so we had to make a trip to walmart.
Very clean and updated rooms, was very comfortable. If I need a hotel again in this area I'll go here. James at the front desk was very accommodating and professional!
I am a Hilton Diamond Member. Recently I had a chance to stop by at Ada location to meet up a family for a brief stay. We were all given warm welcome. Excellent Customer focused staff who goes above and beyond to review your request and fulfil. James and all staff members were exceptional. I highly recommend this location for your Business and Leisure. Thank you!!
