Clean, fairly quiet, nice staff, slightly worn. Neighborhood of the type where we were warned not to leave anything of value in the car. It did have the dreaded Hampton door gap. That’s what many Hampton’s built during a certain era have. The sliding barn door to the bathroom has a half inch gap that allows everybody inside and outside the bathroom to hear what’s going on all the time. Awkward.
My husband and I needed a hotel room last-minute, and I'm so glad we chose this one. Our room was very clean and decently spacious, we had 1 king bed. Aman at the front desk was WONDERFUL. She was very helpful and informative, she even explained the shuttle process to us because we'd never done it before. Would definitely stay here again.
needed a room on the spur of the moment, was booked without any delay, jumped on the hotel shuttle, was checked in an hour earlier than the scheduled time, and caught the shuttle back to the airport. The staff was efficient and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. I had a good night's sleep. Thank you!
Sadly, we did not have a good experience here. Our first room was too loud, next to a girl's volley ball team and nothing but screaming. We requested a quieter room, which was accommodated but the second room had no heat. We decided to try and make the best of it until a couple of cold hours later someone tried to get into our room. Called the front desk to report this and the lack of heat. Front desk was not helpful, but they sent up the shuttle driver who quickly got us relocated to a third room. The next morning our request for a late check out was denied, despite being Hilton Club members. Quite disappointing. They also charge for parking. The most redeeming feature was the free breakfast which had a good variety of options.
My travel preference for hotel stay is Hilton properties. 90% of my stays within the Hilton properties is at a Hampton throughout the northwest. The Sea-Tac Hampton is very well priced and I think for a reason. I'm a little critical when it comes to room cleanliness and amenities basic in nature. My original room I had checked into was not available after all and I was given a different room. The new room was moderately dusty with lots of signs of wear. Don't take it wrong the room and staff were fine but does not warrant a 4 or 5 star rating. Part of that is based on the neighborhood. It is not safe at night and would not recommend an evening stroll down international. Only other complaint would be that the airport is nearby and morning flights definitely make some noise.
