The breakfast staff were very friendly, and attentive. They did a great job keeping the buffet clean and stocked even with lots of people there. The second room we received was nice and clean and checked all of the boxes. Unfortunately the EV charging station which it advertised as a feature online, had not been working for a couple months and we were unable to charge our vehicle there overnight. This lead to us needing to spend extra time seeking out a fast charger nearby. It would be nice if they could note it on the website that it was out of order.

My husband and I were here on business. The employees were wonderful, extremely helpful and understanding! The room is nice and spacious but the only issue is the room had a strong foot Oder as soon as we walked in (and throughout the stay) We are not too picky or bothered easily, but it would have been a better experience without the Oder. We also had spider roommate near the ironing board. Overall will stay again, just wish it smelled a bit nicer in the room and maybe minus unexpected spider roommate!

We stayed here about a year ago and had a decent experience. Back then we noticed the ice machine on our floor was broken. Not a big deal, just went to lobby to get ice. This time the ice machine was still broken with a note saying please visit fifth floor or first floor for ice while we wait for parts. Went up to fifth because it was closer. That ice machine was broken too. Only the lobby was working. This told me that the sign about waiting for parts wasn't exactly being honest because it doesn't take a year to get parts and if it did, you would just replace the machine if you cared about the guest experience. Now for the bed. Last time the bed was decent. Pretty standard for Hampton. This time, the bed was really bad. The bed was sagging badly in the middle such that it felt like sleeping in a letter V. Constantly sliding towards the middle which was practically on the floor. Make a false move while laying down and the whole bed would creek and pop like it was about to collapse completely. The bed was terrible. The overall experience left me thinking the hotel is in a pretty heavy state of disrepair and decline. Visit with caution.

If you are flying out of Albany airport this is perfect for your trip. Hotel is a couple miles from airport, they have a shuttle and the place is decently priced. Yes the rooms are a little older but they are mostly taken care of, they could make small repairs if they were informed of them. The employee working at 4am is great, she was taking care of everyone and ensuring things happened, very effective and friendly, perfect kind of person for that hour that can hold down the fort so to speak. Several restaurants close by. If I was vacationing I wouldn’t stay here but perfect for flying.

I requested a handicap accessible queen room with two beds when I booked. I received a confirmation but when I arrived, such a room didn't exist. We were put in a room with two beds but the bathroom had no accessibility features. It was the room next to a conference room being used for a child's birthday party, where loud music was being played. When I asked for another room, I was told the manager, Ava, said no. Traveling with two people with mobility issues is challenging enough without all these additional issues. Hampton Inn is our preferred hotel brand but will be rethinking this going forward.
