Unfortunately, my experience at Hacienda Hotel was not very favorable. I was running late for a meeting when I checked in, so I speedily raced to the hotel lobby to get my key. I booked a 2 bed room online, and was asked if I wanted 2 beds or 1, so I requested 2 beds again. The hotel is big, very spread out. I made the 4-5 minute walk across the plaza and up to the 9th floor, opened my room and noticed that there was only 1 bed. So I ran back down, to the front desk, got my new room, and was late to my meeting by this point. When I got back to the hotel a couple hours later, my room key had stopped working. Once again I had to make the walk back to the hotel lobby to get a new key, which finally worked. The room itself smelled very musty and I woke up pretty itchy, so I wouldn't be surprised if the bed was not so clean. I will give them an extra star for proximity to LAX and the free shuttle they offer 24/7. That's the primary reason I booked it and ultimately it all worked out. It was just not a very pleasant experience.

I have never had such an experience in traveling. Walking into the the lobby was nice and clean, very friendly staff but when i got my room it also came with instruction that seemed like I was leaving and going down the road some blocks down. As I walked from the lobby through an open courtyard through another building and over a bridge to find my building i couldn't help notice the poor building maintenance. Only one of the three elevators didn't have have an "out of order" sign. I unlock the electronic key lock on the door and try to open it and the handle dosn't budge even though i have a green light, come to find out the handle is broken and I now have to lift the handle. (by the way it room 2422). The bathroom was dirty with hair and stuff on the counter and floors, everything was falling apart with bad patch jobs. Paint was peeling and oh yeah, no AC and a hot LA night. Even though I complained and swapped rooms for a newer updated room the accommodations are poor at best. I dare not include photos.

Great, convenient airport hotel! We needed a cheaper place close to the off-site car rental place, so we wouldn't have to be as stressed in the morning. Very nice hotel with a good, although not very cheap restaurant, tons of options nearby, a nice pool, a easy check-in, nice queen room, a nice courtyard area, and a convenient walkway between the north and south towers. Also, there is a convenient parking lot right by the Walgreen's, the only issue is you have to climb some stairs. With heavy suitcases, this might be an issue, so I would suggest you stay in the 15 minute parking area by the lobby, drop your bags off a and then park. Yes, the hotel is a bit old but..so? If we have a need for a hotel in this area again, we'll be staying here.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 10 nights stay at the Hacienda, I was given a room in the South Tower, and was very impressed by the size, and standard of the room, and facilities - the only thing missing was a fridge! The bed was very comfortable, and the housekeeping staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful! All of the staff were great and had no problems answering any questions and offering help. The restrurant was excellent, and the food really tasty! I'd recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a base to sightsee around LA, it's not far from a train station to get into down town LA. Will definitely stay here again!

I loved my stay! Very friendly front desk personal. Easy check-in and out. Very close to local 24/7 Ralphs (grocery store) and gas station! You can walk two blocks down E Mariposa Ave and be at the green line, which from there you can easily get to North Hollywood, Lax, Downtown LA, and many other places. I would NOT recommend renting a car unless you like going 5mph on the freeway!? The hotel offers a free bus ride to LAX every 15 minutes 24/7 or you can easily get on the 232 bus across the street to get there also. With the 232 bus you can make it to Venice Beach/ Santa Monica (after a few transfers) The hotel is VERY nice! The sitting area outside gives you that relaxed feel and the fireplace is always a plus. I met many wonderful people on my 8 night stay there. Can't wait to go back! See ya soon California! ***** Ask to get put in the WEST end *****
