Decent store. About 20k Sq ft. Basic groceries. Some frozen foods were obviously thawed and refrozen as they were a solid brick. Good meat selection. Very limited Deli selection. Deli closes early. Good produce. Value brand selection on basics.
We really like this down home country store. Very nice produce. Good prices for that area. Great sales. But the surprise is the cooked food in the deli area. WOW the cook knows what she is doing. Everything is goooooodddd. We had their beefstew...😄👍👍👍👍👍!!! And boy was it alot for the money. Go buy groceries then get take out home cooking at its best for supper!
Store personnel are very nice and helpful, but the prices are high due to the fact that the store is located in a tourist spot. That said, I have gotten some very good deals when they have had a special on this or that item. Another good thing is that the store is located right off state route 98 in Carrabelle.
No apparent management on board (owner's son). This store has been going downhill for the past 18 months. Empty shelves; produce is gamey. Many here in town wonder what is happening to a store that once was better than Piggly Wiggly down the street. Hopefully they will sell to someone who will get the store back on track because is it is quite apparent that their heart is not in into running a professional operation.
