Guardian Games
What people are saying
I loved this place when it was Rainy Day Game and love it just as much now that they’ve been acquired (?) by Guardian Games. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. They even put together a HUGE order for me and sent me frequent updates on the progress as things became available. The store is clean and well stocked with tons of board games, ttrpg books, miniatures, and lots of supplies. 10/10 would recommend 👍
I was really happy with my visit to this location. I had been going to the downtown location for years and never made it out to this one. The staff was very friendly and though it’s much smaller than the main location the inventory was really good. My daughter and I got some minis and a really nice puzzle. We just moved nearby and will certainly be regulars here for board games.
Guardian Games, It's a fascinating Establishment with a large variety Board games, puzzles, RGP Games, D&D, mini figures, Disc-golf, pluses, etc. If you're into fantasy games where you can be a Demon, Angel, Elf, Goblin, troll, Hero or any type of magical being you can think of This is where you can find a game that sits your preference. The atmosphere of the store was particularly friendlee from what I observed, there were tons of different types of people. There were people with elf ears and with flowers in their hair even some with colorful hair, there was a variety of people. The employees there were really friendly and knowledgeable they helping customers left and right from what they were looking for, to what questions they were asking. And from what I can see they were really knowledgeable about all the different types of games they had on the shelves they explained how many players/league can't play the game to how many points need to win. Overall I would recommend people who are interested in this type of Hobby to come and have a look.
Rainy Day Games is the perfect place to find indoor activities and opportunity to shop local. We stopped by to find some new games for family game night. They have a large variety of table top games, role play games, card games, classic & new board games for all ages and experience levels. You can also find dice, figurines, paints, and other gaming accessories. They have a game trading program as well as scheduled events hosted in the game room next door. The staff is friendly and ready to answer any questions. Stop by Rainy Day Games to stock up on some fun for your next family game night, friend hang out, birthday party, or other gathering.
I generally go to play MTG on Commander nights (Monday ~5 till 9) or for MTG prerelease events, but I've always had good experiences. Most of the people who go tend to be pretty genial and the management is always helpful and friendly. Prices for MTG products are pretty much in line with what you'll find elsewhere or online (once you include shipping) I see people playing other games when I'm in there and the space they have is really huge so I've never seen that be an issue. My only complaint would be the lack of any kind of food options... But I suppose in the age of Uber Eats, that's remedied easily enough.
