I've been shopping at this GNC for years. Usually, the staff is helpful. Today I made my usual monthly purchase and at the end of the transaction I enquired about putting in my GNC card information, as the associate had not asked for this information. Stephen, the "helpful" associate, quipped "Well we put that in at the beginning, not at the end.", with an irritated tone. I then asked how the program works, as it has recently changed and I am still not very familiar with it. Stephen then replied that he had no idea. In fact, he "Doesn't work for GNC and doesn't know what they are doing". Of course I was taken aback by this and had to ask who he worked for then, since I clearly was in a GNC. He fired back, "The owner of this franchise!" Needless to say, my further prodding regarding the GNC loyalty program quickly elucidated the utter lack of knowledge, respect for loyalty, and respect for patronage in this employee. Unfortunately, he speaks for the brand as a whole. With the age of Amazon and same day delivery for virtually anything you could want, save yourself the time and energy (frustration) in shopping at this store, and opt for better options.
Walked in on Saturday morning to make a purchase, asked the gentleman if they matched prices from online, very RUDE response back, like how dare I ask that, every GNC I have been too matched the sales that are online, his demeanor was out there. I have been going to GNC for over 20 years now and have never dealt with someone like this, and I was only in the store for less than a minute. STAY AWAY and drive to another location, it’s worth it.
Awesome staff. I wanted a different brand of gentle iron 25mg and she did go out of her way to find it. I ended up buying the store brand just because she was helpful.
Great place to pick up your supplements. The guy thats runs the keller location is very knowledgeable about everything in store and doesnt try to push any one product.
