My husband and I stopped in while we were in the area. Very fun comic shop, and maintained well. You can tell the folks that work there love comics/etc.
I visited this shop when I was in town for a conference. It’s a small local shop. I had a chance to talk to the manager and he was really friendly and open. We talked about comics, life, and politics. It’s nice to get this kind of personal attention in a shop. The only downside for me is that the selection of trade paperbacks didn’t include the most recent publications, so I wasn’t able to give the store as much money as I wanted to. However, if you’re local, check out this store. Whatever you can’t find, you’ll be able to order.
I visited G-Mart for the first time today, 1/12/22. I was VERY impressed with their selection and the amount of variant covers they had to offer. I didn't catch the name of the employee behind the counter, around 1145A, but he was extremely knowledgeable and very pleasant. I've been to several comic book stores in Illinois and Indiana, and G-Mart, IMO, is one of the best in terms of inventory, both new and old. Their website is also top-notch. I HIGHLY recommend this store to my fellow comic book aficionados. I will be making the 100 mile round-trip weekly!

They have very polite and helpful staff. Used to be a purely comic book store but they've recently expanded to include D&D paraphernalia, which is great, AND they have tables in the back room to play on. Not sure if they have set times for that or not, but a very welcoming atmosphere overall. Huge selection of comics and a subscription system for those who want to keep up with weekly series. Great location (a bit hidden away, but 2 blocks from the terminal, and right downtown in case you want to grab a beer/coffee and read your books right away), although parking can be tough during the day. 5 stars.
