No ATM machine! Food is outrageous in price. Management is rude & doesn't have a clue. They couldn't be bothered. Lobby is nice and a few employees! But the facts are they are out of everything the 4 days I was there! None of the most common liquors in a bar. No patron no Bacardi. No Jameson. Only tequila was cosmigos at $17 a shot and another one never heard of. They had 1 kind of red wine. And almost every beer on tap was not working the entire stay. I overheard employee ask about when they would be getting the beer n liquor order in, and the manager said it was very far down on his priority list. They ran out of soup, salad, wings and pretzels. This was affordable price but you can see why. Also construction going on in and around hotel. But location is convenient
Very nice property located just a short distance from I-95 and the Christiana Mall. Front desk staff was very professional, friendly and accommodating. Complimentary hot appetizers, fresh baked chocolate chip cookies and coffee are provided. Small restaurant with full bar off lobby. Property and rooms are spotless clean. The only issues were a slow draining sink and a forgotten dirty towel hanging in the bathroom that was forgotten by housekeeping. The front desk staff upon checkout was made aware and quickly offered a complimentary breakfast buffet along with their apologies. This was a well received gesture that says a lot about their customer service. Definitely would stay again
We stayed a couple of weeks ago here, DO NOT RECOMMEND. Rooms needed more cleaning, after bringing it up room was cleaned better which was appreciate it! However manager was far from helpful, she was very rude and with an entitled attitude. This was a business trip. We will take our business somewhere else in the future.
Horrible place! Room was dirty and smelled horrible. I was supposed to have a suite and all that the room had was an extra living space (if you want to even can consider it a living space). The TVs didn’t work from the moment I got there. Called the front desk to see if someone could come to check about the TVs, the lady was extremely rude and no one ever came. I was supposed to stay for a week but left the following day. The bed linens were dirty and uncomfortable. Definitely would NOT recommend.
I wish I could give this place negative star I had 5 family’s book this place for a sporting event back in January 2024. We all received a text that our rooms were all canceled. We are all scrambling to find another hotel for our event next weekend. Mangers / GM / Corporate said there is nothing we can do. This happen to others last year and staff blamed on manager who was terminated. Please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Best western Newark Embassy suites Newark They will tell you please provide them with phone number to call you. Don’t waste your breath.
