I’ve been shopping at food lion for many years, in several places in NC. Yep, they have their issues with products sometimes but in general, I’m not sure I could shop somewhere else. Their app has a reward program, basically cashback, you can track your savings, get coupons, make a list - it’s pretty great. And their staff is usually very friendly & helpful. There is one near the beach we go to that has some great premade sandwiches salads etc. We almost always pick something up after a day at the beach. It reminds me of the A&P we shopped at as a kid in Massachusetts. So a little nostalgia too. 😂. Thanks Food Lion. I appreciate you!!!

Clean store, friendly front end workers, bakery items fresh and tasty. I often can find items here that's not in other stores.

Selection can be sparse but the prices are good and the dolls are typically nice.

Great grocery store, been shopping here for 30 years, part of the community. Saying that, they need to do better in the meat section and butcher shop. Chicken& ribs regardless beef or pork are not fresh. The last 5x I have shopped there. When you open the packages it smells spoiled. There is also always a shortage of both. I dont know if it's the meat employees or poor freezer handling in the back of the building but, it's annoying when you are spending $80 at a time to feed a family of 8. If they solve this, I'll stop going other places and change this review to 5 stars. They also need more fresh pepper varieties in produce.

I came in today around 4 and accidentally left my two 12 pack of sodas on the counter, then two lovely associates who’s names are Sheairra (excuse me if it’s spelled incorrectly) and Zion ran out to my car in this 90° heat to make sure I didn’t leave without them! That’s the definition of customer service!!
