I love me some Five Guys! I was happy to find that there was a Five guys next to my gate before I flew out of IAD. The burger and fries were exactly as I would have expected. There was not a very big line but the food took much longer than expected especially for five guys. I would recommend this location and would be happy to fly out of a gate next to it again. This was a much better meal than what I have come to expect from most airport offerings. The price also reflected being in an airport as well. Pricing was a little steep
*MAKE SURE TO GET AN EXTRA CUP AS THEY GIVE A VERY GOOD AMOUNT OF FRIES * ;) These guys are located in the B Gate in between B71 and 72 I think. They were fast in preparing and they gave a very good amount of fries and loved it. Taste was very good and did not have any issue having the food. Cheap and best .
The meat was moist, not dry at all. Nothing special or unique about Five Guys. It's just another burger joint but better than McDonald's and Burger King.
Fast food in a airport. Nothing more, nothing else. The staff was quick in taking and making the orders. You can sit “inside” or they are some tables in the airport in front of the restaurants that a bigger. Overall clean. Good for a snack before flying.
The veggie sandwich with grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, peppers, lettuce, tomato and cheese was excellent. It was made fresh and hot, delicious. Price of around $5 was worth it as food is generally expensive in airports. The sitting area was clean and nice with interesting posters. The person taking the order greeted which was nice waiting for a delayed flight.
