The only good part was the friendly staff. I had very long hair and asked for a haircut to my shoulders. I didn't ask for anything extra, just a straight across haircut. I like my haircut, but IT WAS $85!! What the heck. What a ridiculously expensive haircut. I wish they would have shared the price beforehand. There are no prices online and I didn't see any in the store either. I would not go back. There was also a drawer on the bottom of cabinet that said SPOILED. Inside was a tied up bag, which she proceeded to take used hair brushes out of. While she was combing and brushing my hair( with the used brushes and combs), she accidentally dropped the hair brush, picked it up and continued using it. GROSS! At least wipe it off after it falls on the floor OR use a different brush, one that has not been used. Honestly so gross.
They charge $85 for a simple root touch-up with no blow-dry sending you off with wet hair. Furthermore, they wash your hair with ice cold water, as the place doesn't have hot water- no " we're sorry" or anything. I do not recommend this Fantastic Sam's.
I never pay full price I’m always a Groupon shopper when it comes to getting my hair done, but having traveled from out of town I decided to give this location a try and just get a simple wash, condition and blow dry. Nothing fancy. There were only two ladies, but I was able to walk right in and get serviced. I understand it was a little more humid than what I’m used to, but the blow out left me hair dry and frizzy. It was $45 off top for this I would expect a little more. I was appreciative of the quick and timely manor that I was seen so I didn’t complain, but I could have done the same job at the hotel.
Best hair salon experience I have had in a while. I called an hour before to see if they could do color, took me in and gave me some killer highlights. If you want a salon with people that make you feel like you’re family or you’ve known them for years, this is the place. He’d working women in here. Highly recommend.
Lied to me and closed hours early. I called yesterday to see if Sam's was open for walk-in appointments. A salon worker on the other end told me they do take walk-in appointments, but were closed for the day. Totally okay and understandable for memorial day! She told me to come back the next day, so I did. The salon is closed. again, HOURS before the listed time on the front door and Google. I asked to be seen at 5pm, so why make me come out to a locked door? Was the salon closed for the day? They could have told me to come in before a certain time, but now I'm stuck.
