One of the best truck stop restaurant experiences I’ve had in a long while. Food,Service , and attitudes where great. This restaurant should be an example to the rest of the TA and Petro truck stops with restaurants and not fast food only.

AWESOME PLACE!!!!!! My friend and I stopped in after we received a recommendation from a gas station down the street on where to eat. After hearing the words ‘truck stop,’ we were a little wary, but needed to fuel up before the long drive to Dallas. Y’all, this is a true Texas gem of a restaurant. I ordered from the buffet which has plenty of options for meat lovers, vegetarians and even vegans with an amazing dessert selection and my friend ordered from the menu. At just $25 we had some of the best fried okra we’ve ever tasted, with far more okra than breading, tender fried cod and lightly breaded fries, spaghetti, turkey stuffing, mashed potatoes, and coffees for the road. Beyond being delicious and affordable, the service was great- timely, warm, and also very Texan. Students traveling between Lubbock and Dallas should stop here for a quick bite before the long drive.
