Come here! Familiar trees is such a wonderful addition to Great Barrington and worth the trip if you’re visiting the Berkshires. Amazing selection of books and one of a kind goods. I bought what is now a new favorite piece- a beautifully colorful mirror that was super reasonably priced. Also picked up several great books. Give them a visit if you’re looking to add to your collection or for a unique gift.

Familiar Trees is such a great shop! Some of the most interesting books I’ve seen in a long time. I stopped by to purchase Holiday gifts and left with so many books I couldn’t resist for myself! Cozy atmosphere & knowledgeable owners. Don’t miss this place when you’re visiting Great Barrington.

Love, love, love this bookstore. Rudy has curated a gem of a selection and their expertise on books and art books is singular. I purchased an Jeanette Winterson book and came across a rare biography on my favorite film director Krzysztof Kieslowski. It was the perfect purchase to fill my weekend! Go, and run don’t walk. Can’t wait to see what programming they bring to North Street once Covid allows such things!
