This property meets all of the high standards of the Marriott brand. The staff is very friendly, professional and accommodating. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The property had a bit of an awkward location but in the end it worked out for us with no major issues. We would definitely stay here again and recommend you give it a try.
I recently stayed at the Fairfield Inn and Suites in Rapid City, SD, and had a very disappointing experience. As a Marriott Gold Elite member, I expected much better service and accommodations. The hotel clerk was extremely rude when I asked where the hotel carts were, setting a poor tone for our stay right from the start. To make matters worse, my family and I were placed in a room right next to the lobby, which was incredibly loud and made it impossible to get a good night’s sleep. The breakfast was equally disappointing. There was almost no selection, just some sausage patties and terrible scrambled eggs. Even the waffles were pre-packaged and had to be toasted. Overall, it was one of the worst hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had. I highly recommend staying away from this place. It’s not worth the hassle or the disappointment. As a side, I believe most of the good reviews must be fake.
Came in late in need of a room and Roseanna was beyond wonderful! She was helpful, friendly, and got us a comfortable room at a reasonable rate. Compared to other hotels in the area I feel the Fairfield is reasonably priced with very nice accommodations and a convenient location. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!
This hotel was in a very good location. The price was a little steep for what you got. The rooms had been updated but we found ours was a little beaten up the bed frame was damaged and the pillows for the bed were awful. We had asked for more towels since there was four of us and two being female which used a towel for their hair. We received 4 more towels of all different sizes and styles. The breakfast was biscuits and gravy and cereal. Was really expecting a little more for 280 a night.
Was good hotel. Wasn't the most comfortable beds I've slept on but it was good, showers could've been warmer tho. Breakfast was really good. Price was a little steep, definitely paid cheaper for better. Atmosphere in lobby was loud, somewhat dirty maybe. Very busy weekend with events so understandable.
