Evergreen Prosthetics & Orthotics
What people are saying
This was a very pleasant experience. I didn't have to go into the office to get the alterations done for my prosthetic leg. Casey came with the van to my home in Colorado, very helpful.
Dragged their feet on getting paperwork from my doctors, then when I questioned why it was taking so long and asked to speak with the clinic supervisor, she was very combative before I even said hello and dead-set on me being unreasonable for thinking six weeks to let me know they couldn't get in contact with my doctor before reaching out to me. Ultimately, the clinic supervisor told me to go F myself--I did say it first but only one of us is getting screwed out of medical care and only one of us was being paid. They "will no longer be working with me as a patient" which is...clearly what they were doing before the clinic supervisor got involved as well. Additionally, this was the second time I'd tried to get this prescription filled and they are "the only in-network option". I tried last year and they also completely dropped the ball but I didn't have the energy with health issues going on to continually chase them to get it taken care of. The communication here is really, really bad. Should I have told the clinic supervisor to go F herself as I hung up the phone? Probably not. Was it justified after she was extremely combative and continued to screw me out of medical care, now for the second year in a row? I think so. As others have said, if your insurance will allow for any other options, take them.
It took two weeks to get in for a 4 minute appointment. This place is NOT busy. I was told my device would be ready in 2 weeks. After two weeks, no device. Evergreen tried to blame my Dr. for not getting the needed paperwork work in promptly. Come to find out Evergreen just submitted the paperwork to the Doc 2 days before. Now, Im told another 2 weeks. My foot still goes flop. Go ANYWHERE else if you can. The front desk staff/phone talkers act like they know nothing about the delay.
My mom had an AFO brace customized by Casey and the entire experience was great! You can tell how knowledgeable he is in the way he explains things, and that he is truly here for the patients. He even went above and beyond in helping getting shoes that fit the new brace.
I can’t respect a medical establishment that takes down the insurance information over the phone, but does not follow up prior to the appointment or time of service on what or what would not be covered by insurance. What I needed was not complicated and would have been easy to determine prior to arrival that my insurance will not cover it. Literally would have just taken a simple phone call in advance to avoid what was a complete waste of my time, and at the end of the day, also their’s. I look for transparency upfront especially when it comes to medical billing, but this establishment could not provide that, therefore, would not recommend.
