If you’re traveling to San Diego with an out-of-state driver’s license, do not trust them! I reserved a luxury SUV five months ago, and they never acknowledged that they cannot accept debit cards for out-of-state licenses. My family has been customers of Enterprise since before I could remember, and I have never been so embarrassed. I went from potentially driving a 2022 Jeep to going next door to a low-quality car rental company and driving around in a 2010 BMW crossover. If you’re traveling from out of state, spend your hard-earned money with a company who accept debit cards and not these guys.
This company is hit or miss. The last two cars rented were messed up, Dash light came on in one, and the other came with a damaged tire. It eventually got fixed, but only after numerous calls, all of which were bad experiences, and having to take off work...not just me, but my daughter too, in order to get it fixed. So, unless you've no other option, go to Hertz.
Really impressed with the service at this location and by Enterprise in general. Really quick, efficient and friendly service and none of the upselling you fear. We were given a great car

This location in San Diego has been awesome! They are very friendly, very customer-forward. If they don't have the car you reserved, they upgrade you for free. We reserved a Kia Sol for a day and they upgraded us to a freakin' Masarati. Such a nice car! Remember when renting a car, always get the damage waiver. It brings complete peace of mind for an extra few dollars.
