I used some miles and cash to secure this spot, chosen mostly for being close to a colleague’s office and free parking. So glad I stayed here. First, the hotel is well air conditioned. Walked into my room and it was almost like the North Pole, before climate change. However, I didn’t realize that there were two thermostats and it took a while to add the climate change back into the mix. Second, my room was clean and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. That could be because I was on the second floor so consider that floor if you like water pressure. Third, breakfast and free coffee station access is in the morning and it is hands-down the best breakfast I’ve had in a hotel! Real scrambled eggs and an omelette bar. Also real waffles but they offer French toast. I recommend the bacon over the sausage. Filled up my thermos mug with coffee and a hot chocolate— all complimentary! They offered sugar free and regular syrup. Staff are friendly and they have a little vending area you can pay there or add to your room bill. Location is next to the turnpike so get the EZpass because that will save you lots of time! You also get free parking during your stay.
Our stay at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in Portland, Maine, was exceptional! From the moment we checked in, the staff was warm and welcoming. The suite was spacious, clean, and perfect for our family. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and had a variety of options to suit everyone’s taste. Miguel, our 11-year-old, particularly enjoyed the pool and the evening reception with snacks and drinks. The location is convenient, close to the airport and downtown Portland. We highly recommend this hotel for families looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!
All the employees were so kind and helpful! We had a late flight that got delayed even later. We arrived after 1am, called the hotel for the free shuttle and they were there to pick us up in 3 minutes! We had done mobile check in and were able to go straight to our room once we arrived, which was perfect since we were exhausted. The free breakfast was one of the best I’ve had at a hotel —- lots of options and made to order omelets. The room was also quiet and clean!
One of the best airport hotels I've ever visited. The rooms are recently remodeled and clean. Beds were perfect and the sitting area comfortable.The manager reception was nice with wine and snacks. Great hotel if staying near the airport!
The lobby appears outdated and somewhat dirty, but fortunately, the room was clean and well-maintained, including the bathroom. The breakfast was good, slightly above average. There is ample parking available.
