A lovely little store with caring and welcoming people. The owner is a delight. More than just a bookstore, Ellen Plumb's also is involved in the community. I recently went to a wedding at the bookstore and it was a wonderful cosy venue. Only downside is it's right next to Salsa St. So every time I see it I get hungry.
Quaint little bookstore in a small mid-western town providing traditional environment for book buyers and readers alike. Diverse collection of material somewhat limited by it's size but makes up for it with a friendly staff and cozy environment. Buyers will definitely feel welcome to visit, peruse and stay awhile.
Ellen Plumb's had a great selection. The owner gives great customer service. If she doesn't have something, she is more than happy to order it. The best part of this store is that it is independently owned and supports local artists.
This is the friendliest little bookstore ever. They have a wide selection of books, cards, and gifts. Any book they don't have in stock, they can get for you. And there are so many wonderful special events! I love supporting such a terrific locally-owned business.
This place is the best! Marcia just directed me to the books I know my grandchildren will be excited about opening in a few weeks. She packed them into this cool bag too! No peeking!!!
