I'm giving that three stars for service because it was a while before our waiter got to her table. I'd say 10-15 minutes and then after that we didn't see our server again until at the end of our meal had to call call attention to our table to get a refill and a drink. Other than that it was a really good time. The food's great!

Clean building inside and out. Fast service from greeting to refills. Fresh warm chips salsa with a small bite, not bland. Hot and delicious main courses, Steak Villas and Carmalitas special.

Oh man, this place is awesome! Recently remodeled dining area is flat cool. I love the custom tables & chairs. The designer did an outstanding job 👍 The menu was a tough choice, so many options I am looking forward to in the future 👍👍 I had the"Make you Sweat" chicken, oh so tasty... Not real hot though, You can handle it 👍🤓 I will be back for a Margarita 🍹 Great job guys!!

I'm terribly disappointed in what I ordered. I ordered a chicken chalupa and it looks like a chicken tostada. It fell apart when I tried to pick it up like you're supposed to when you come to eating a chalupa. I wanted a chalupa not a tostada. It didn't even taste like a chalupa. I wasted $14 and some change because I'm going to throw them in the trash I'll order through ubereats Somebody was telling me that it was a great restaurant. Maybe for Elwood area it is a great restaurant but to me it's like all the rest that I travel across the country and see and eat at. They take their idea of what they think the food is and make it that way. The cashiers wasn't very friendly but she wasn't angry either so she was just there. I do have to say the iced tea was great. I'll be nice and give them a two-star. The last picture is what a chalupa should look like:

My husband and I are not from here and only have stopped when passing through, but we just so happen to be stuck here (elwood) for the 4th. We decided to go try this little place around 1:45. We checked online and seen that they closed at 3 on my phone but my husband's showed 9. We figured to play it safe and head there. We arrived at 2:08 to find out they closed their kitchen already. The guy that informed us was frankly rude and the lady working the register thought it funny that we didn't make it in time. A more accurate time would have been helpful but the way we were treated makes me glad to take our money elsewhere.
