I drive 2 hours for school in San Diego on the weekends. I found this hotel with a friend it was pretty reasonable. When we got there it was late we had to check in outside. We had to give $100 cash deposit which we didn't know about and we were never told. Then we checked out at 8:00am the morning attendant said we can't get out deposit back until the maid checks the room at 9:00am and to come back in the afternoon. No I told her I have school all day and asked if she can check the room she said no. I asked for a manger and she said if I am going to have an attitude then don't come back here and that there is a sign that says check out is 11am so I should have known. Needless to say i was very upset and she eventually gave me my $100 back. That was so unprofessional I will never stay here again.
This hotel is horrible the owner is horrible insulting my autistic baby brother saying he's loud at night when he's not he's non verbal and charging us for nearly 160 for just sheets and to pay for this place 700 dollars nearly 900 dollars all together also they said they cleaned our room they did not they just made the beds and just did not nothing before this hotel is the worst place I have ever been at. Insulting my baby autistic brother is just wrong
Beyond disappointed with this place, my room had a foul rank smell coming from the shower drain the floors were so dirty the whole time I was there I had no Wi-Fi in my room. I literally had to buy an eSIM so I could go on the Internet, so ridiculous and I was not asking for a refund for how disgusting these rooms are but then they decided to keep my hundred dollar deposit because they said the towel was dirty. When the only towel that could’ve been dirty was the floor towel because of how disgusting their floors are, do not stay here unless you want your deposit taken. I called Choice hotels they are a joke Literally didn’t do anything so yeah, I’m beyond disappointed. I really want to go inside and take pictures of the towels because I know I didn’t leave them dirty but it’s just so ridiculous. They just keep your hundred dollar deposit do not stay here. I took photos from the inside of the hotel room from the outside. It’s like I left the room totally fine so for them to take $100 for me is so beyond ridiculous not to mention the 50 spider bites I have and there’s a spider in my room disgusting
The owners where extremely nice and helpful. My kids and my grandkids had a blast there. We where there July 12th though July 15th 2024. The room was very clean the bathroom was really clean also. We would definitely go back to this place.
Great value for what you get. Very cheap yet decent place. Location is ideal... At least for me. I'm not interested in the Casino but it's available across the street for those that are.
