Good for overnight Overall 4/5 Value 5/5 Internet 5/5 Pros: room was clean. Motel was clean. Room was spacious and well laid out. Internet worked well. Locating near the interstate. Plenty of parking. Motel was quiet and seemingly had few guests. Cons: bathroom was not so clean. Desk chair wouldn't raise up - the adjustment was broken. Toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in awhile. Toilet float didn't work quite right and tank wouldn't refill - I had to take the top off the tank and play with the float each time. There is no real breakfast offered.
First off, the young lady at the desk was great. She was doing her job with kindness and expression. My issue was with the rooms and the lack of information. 1) The carpet had rips throughout the room. 2) The bathroom door did not lock and looked like it had been hit by 5 dozen wheelchairs. Scuffed up on the bottom and looked like it was about to fall apart. 3) There was only a stand up handicap shower in the bathroom. We have 2 kids (7 and 3) and would have liked to have a bathtub. When I asked if there were any room with bathtubs, I was told on the 2nd floor but the elevator was broken. 4) There was an already opened bar of soap left on the shower floor along with plenty of dark curly hair that was obvious to see. I had to wash out the shower for 3 minutes to get all the hair off of the walls and floor then down the drain. 5) While trying to give my 7 year old a shower and not get water all over the floor, the water would not get down to a warm enough temperature to use. I had it almost all the way off and on cold before it was not too hot for my child. Definitely will not stay here again and most likely not at a Comfort Inn. I paid $82 (normally $100) for the room and it was not even close to the $59.99 I could have paid for a Motel 6.
Rooms clean service good caught a special low price location good parking easy. Showers really nice good pressure on water hot!! 3 day stay. Will stay again when coming this way. Free breakfast. Waffle, muffins coffee juice
Staff wasn't very friendly. Elevator looked like it had not been cleaned in weeks. Pool was out of service. Hall floor was dirty. Room was fine though. Still no hot breakfast. Small parking lot with no room for vehicles with trailers even though app says it does. A/C filters were dirty. Damaged carpet, bathroom ceiling, furniture, and needs to be updated.
A bad experience right off the bat: I called to request early check-in, and not only did they say no, but the indifferent lady answering the phone, said we SHOULD have a room ready by 3pm (check-in time). Sure enough; the room wasn't ready until 30 minutes after check-in time. The property is old and beat up, in need of cleaning, painting and maintenance. The key cards only worked after about 10 swipes, (every time). The interior of the room was mostly clean, but had a strong strange odor. The bed and sheets were clean but the carpet had crumbs from a previous guest, the table had finger or toenails on it. The breakfast menu included inferior quality foods and the coffee tasted as if they hadn't cleaned the machine in a while. The front desk staff appear to be indifferent about guests. However, the cleaning staff and the kitchen staff were very nice.
