Followed the parking instructions on their website to book and prepaid the parking. Received the QR code in email. Also received a reminder on the day before. From the Dulles Airport Access Road, took the Services exit. Parking Garage 2 located on the northern side to the terminal. It took five or six scans to let scanner accept the QR code. Followed green lights to get an electronic charger lot that were free to patrons. Followed directions up to the third floor. The walking bridge to terminal located all way back on the third floor.
It's now $7/hour. Still a lot of info out there, even the TSA Global Entry information, that says incorrectly it's $6. The undercover spaces were all full, had to park on the top level in the sun, but was only there a half hour. Expect to spend 15-20 minutes looking for a space and then walking to the terminal. Or just go right to the top to save time. It is the closest parking to the terminal and therefore the most used. All the handicapped and EV spaces were taken. Just allow enough time to find a space, there are no space markers to tell you where a spot is available. If you're parking long term and want to stay out of the sun, I would try Garage 1. There is a covered walkway to the terminal in both garages.
We always use parking garage 2 due to its proximity to the airport facility. I also try to always park on level 3 so we can walk directly to the covered walkway and not have to take the elevator to the 3rd level. Since I am an over packer, parking here is for the convenience not to save money. This location does cost more however we don’t have to worry with the shuttle timing and loading of bags from the economy lot and the vehicle is covered from weather.
It's convenient, especially with direct Main Terminal ticket-level access via a covered walkway at Level 3. Cautionary note: daily parking fees can add up quickly for stays of 5 days or more.
Very clean and clutch for EV charging while traveling!
