Honestly, this was the best hotel stay I’ve had in a long time. From the big things like overall cleanliness and location, to the finely crafted details like elevators that rest at the lobby (never a wait), quality restaurant food, and clean crisp linens and towels It was a pleasant stay all around. The bistro staff are wonderful, and breakfast was much better than I anticipated, with rotating items each day like different scrambles, made to order omelettes, breakfast meats, fruit, yogurt etc.with everything tasting fresh delicious. The hotel staff were endlessly helpful, Even texting throughout the day to make sure things were going well. The shuttle itself deserves honorable mention, and makes this hotel worth it above the others. It will take you to/from the airport, and anywhere within 2 miles of the hotel. The walk to campus is not bad, but if you have any type of mobility issues, the shuttle is a lifesaver. You can tell the people who run this place care deeply about customer experience and it really shows. would 100% stay here again without looking anywhere else!
This hotel is close to campus, the rooms are nice, the employees are very nice and helpful. They also have a free shuttle service for anywhere on campus and maybe a 2 mile radius of campus). We were able to get a shuttle to just the other side of the Capitol. I enjoy staying here and plan to whenever I visit. (They are also pet friendly)
This hotel seems older but is very well maintained. Service is top notch. The parking is secure and convenient. Location is great. The shower has Cosmo-Kramer-level water pressure. We’ll be staying here again on a future visit to Madison.
I enjoyed my stay here. The rooms were clean and the shower I had was amazing finally it wasn’t a sprinkler. The location was great to get around and go to some shops and enjoy the water near by.
Very good option for those visiting the U. of Wisconsin. The hotel is well-located, close to many shops and restaurants. The restaurant in the hotel itself was fine, with good food and fair prices. Our room was comfortable, clean, and spacious. The staff was excellent and made us feel welcome. I particularly appreciated that I could leave my car in the parking lot even after my reservation was completed without paying any extra fee. Definitely a place I would recommend.
