Food: I got the quesobirria. It was good. I just went to Cali and tried their birria so I was pleased. Service: we had such a sweet server! She was the best! The host and staff were great too!

Decorah, you have an amazing Mexican restaurant here. It's delicious, authentic and the staff was amazing. Sat out in the beautiful patio. Please visit often so the next time I come to town I can try the birria tacos. I had the carne asada tonight and it was perfect! Gracias amigos

They were very busy but only waited like 10 minutes out of 15. Very Good and quite friendly waiter! One had fajitas-steak, one Shredded beef tamales combo, one chimichanga. We were pleasantly stuffed!!

My undergraduate schooling was at Luther College and I had my fair share of meals here as a student. Driving through to Dubuque with my friend and fiancee I convinced them to stop and try it out. Don Jose never disappoints! I got a margarita and burrito. The margarita tasted great and the burrito's portion size, taste, and presentation were excellent. As a group we got queso and chips and that also hit the spot. We sat outside and the umbrellas were situated to assist in avoiding direct exposure to the sun if someone was into that (I'm pale so I was). The service we received was also tremendous and timely, so an easy 5 stars from me!
