Flight got delayed, called both the company and Priceline and they said i would be able to pick up the car. Got here and now I’m stuck, no car.... grandpa funeral is 8 hours....

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS FACILITY! DISHONEST MANAGEMENT! I forgot that I had left $350 in cash under the driver floor mat. When I got on the bus to the airport, I called the facility and asked to speak to a manager (thinking they would be more honest). Manager on duty "Chris" picked up. I told him I left the money there and the vehicle I rented. He said he would go look and call me right back. Well guess what? I never got a call back from this crook Manager Chris. After half an hour, I called back and he would not pick up the phone. For the next hour I called back about 20 times and no one would pick up the phone. and still no call back from "Chris." Finally after an hour and a half of calling. A lady picked up and told me Chris had left for the day and they she would call him to find out. She came back on the phone and told me that Chris said that the car was rented out. I know Dollar is that that efficient to be able to rent a car back out 10 minutes after it was returned. NO way because there must have been about 30 cars that was in the return lane before mine. Manager on duty Chris found my money and took it. Because he was the only one that knew where it was, he went to the car, found my money and took it and did not call me back or pick up the phone for the rest of his shift. Chris is a liar and a thief. DO NOT rent from this place because more than likely you might forget something and you will never get it back. I didn't plan on forgetting my money in the car and you don't plan on forgetting anything neither, but you might and if you do you won't get it back. Why risk it? There are a dozen other rental car companies out there.

As someone who rents cars frequently I was blown away by their deposit requirements. They wanted to hold $100 MORE than the total cost of the rental, AND they don't release the hold on your money until 4 days after you return the car! *Budget doesn't even require a hold if you use a credit card!* it's worth it to pay a little extra somewhere else and be able to actually enjoy your time away!

I wish we had read reviews before renting from this place. Upon arriving, they wouldn't accept my friend's credit card (which had already been charged by Hotwire) because her last name on the card did not match the last name on her driver's license, as she had recently gotten married. So they asked for another driver's (me) ID and credit card. Unfortunately, I'm a few months under 25 so they charged my card $20something per day for an underage fee, but also still charged my friend's credit card who is not under 25. The entire scenario made no logical sense besides to get more money from us. Other than that, there were no employees out in the parking lot to assist with choosing a vehicle, which I had questions about. When I went back inside to ask those questions, I was redirected back outside and assured there would be someone out there to help me. No one ever showed. The car was fine but wasn't as clean as you'd expect when we got in it.

I will never use Dollar again. We DECLINED the extra insurance but the agent went a head and added it anyway. Charged us an extra $216.00. Called customer service they wer rude and said we are just out of luck. Dollar is nothing but a scam company. Do your self a favor don't ever us Dollar rent a car. From the other reviews it looks like this is a very common practice with Dollar.
