Came here midday on an overcast Saturday & there were plenty of people enjoying the beach also. There's a paved walking path. Unfortunately, the cyclists that ride it weren't good at alerting us to their presence, so it didn't feel safe to walk on the same path they're riding. It was really nice to see so many planes fly over while we were there.

I had the best experience at Dockweiler the beach was clean and not overcrowded. I witness the most unbelievable sunset as well! The beach is kid-friendly and swimmable. The waves get rather sizable at night. Dockweiler will definitely be a new go to for me, highly recommend for chill beach vibes! Bring a book, do yoga, you know the vibes :)

The beach is nice, not as groomed as the beaches just south of it, but still good. Easy to get to with Grand Ave ending at Vista Del Mar. The parking lot is great for car travelers, PAY the fee or get a ticket. They are there monitoring. Bathrooms are avail (seasonal). And a wash station for surfers or sandy feet. Ships are there in the moorings for you to watch and bringing oil and fuel to out area.

Beautiful beach that is great for kids! My son LOVES being in the ocean, but often times there are rocks and sharp items that hurt his feet. This beach is very sandy and is shallow enough for kids to be close to the water and not be in danger. The sand is a little dirty but all comes off in the shower. We came here for July 4yh and had a blast! Can't wait to visit again soon.

Nice quiet beach with plenty of street parking available. The wildflowers were in bloom and they were so pretty. The beach wasn't very busy - so, it made for a nice relaxing visit. Bathrooms and foot and body showers are within a short walking distance to get sand off. I spent about an hour here before my flight at LAX. Nice way to end my vacation.
