I love this store. They are close and convenient. Decent prices, especially during sales. The only grocery on this side of town, making it easy to get to. The employees are great people, and tend to be pretty happy. As a locally owned and operated business, money spent at Apple Market stays in this area. Overall, this is a great store, and this town is lucky to have them.
Dicus has really great deals. The staff is always welcoming and helpful... seriously, really nice people work at Dicus ...if you haven't shopped here, it's a nice change of pace. I would definitely recommend this store and definitely go back.
My wife and I have visited 4 times over the last week. Despite a sign on the door warning that everybody must wear a mask inside, I have yet to see one employee wearing a mask properly. Most do not wear one at all. Those that do have the nose or both mouth and nose exposed. In these difficult times, one would think Mr Dicus would take greater care to ensure that his store does it's part in keeping us all safe. Apparently not.
The store is closing. They still had a good selection on some things. In my opinion they could have done more than 20% off. I understand they still need to make some money but for as high as the prices are, a bigger discount would have been better.
Now Just Dicus. In as word Dicus is lackluster. A step on the other side of laid back. Regular prices are a bit high but their sales are great. The workers are helpful and knowledgeable and do a good job.
