Great new discovery for us in San Jose downtown, as a lot of our favorite places disappeared after their pandemic. Amazing variety of cheeses and wines with unique and savory accompaniments, like marinated pine cone jam. Very nice and attentive service. The place is small and quaint - a perfect setting for a little French wine bar. Not a huge dinner menu, but the food is delicious!

Stumbled upon Devine for a late dinner with a friend. Liana took personal care of us and engaged with us at just the right level. The short ribs were super tender and flavorful and my friend said the seafood pasta was seasoned perfectly. The eclectic wine list worked very well with our dinner choices. The Basque cheesecake was the perfect capper. Highly recommend.

Why is this place not rammed on a Saturday night? It has gorgeous street-side outside dining which gives a European feel. The menu is a treat; do yourself a favour and order the weird sounding blue cheese s'more. But the star is clearly the create your own cheese plate, with each one paired with something exciting. I'm sober so can't speak to the wine, but vanilla cream soda was a fun alternative to have on the menu. Kevin our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable. San Jose needs to recognise this gem of a restaurant.

We joined a friend here for a Christmas eve dinner and I was pretty impressed by the pairings and quality of cheeses they had. The staff were suer helpful and gave great wine recommendations. The salads and mash potatoes were amazing. I’d definitely pay this place another visit
