Phenomenal. All the biggest names you may have heard are represented. Van Gough, Picasso, Monett, Matisse, Robin. Contemporary art. Indian art, African American, the whole floor dedicated to fancy living. Changing exhibits, something for everyone. Cafeteria on the first floor is clean, and the food is good. The price for tickets is very reasonable, I spent more money on food in the cafeteria, then on my admission.

such a great place! The tour guides are phenomenal. The art is beautiful, the facility is beautiful, and there is so much enriching education to be had, including history! I enjoyed reading about the history here. The displays are well thought out, and there are even ways for the kids to get involved, including a "seek and find" in certain rooms. I took a public tour and it was really engaging and a wonderful way to learn about the museum, the artists, the art, and the story behind it all. I was happily surprised to find out that they have many other programs throughout the week! I am so excited to come back.

Great place! We drove to Detroit to see The Regeneration of Black Cinema exhibit..We also saw the masterful work of Tiff Massey. As well as other beautiful art from around the world. DIA is a beautiful place. They were setting up for a wedding and what a beautiful place for a wedding. The architecture is gorgeous. This was my 1st time visiting and I look forward to going back

We visited for the Regeneration exhibition, and when I saw the Academy of Motion pictures who put it together, I knew it would be awesome. The artifacts were fascinating, a lot of history. The DIA is a must visit for anyone local or visitor. All around a wonderful museum.

This place is awesome!! I got a free ticket because I live in Oakland county and they also offer student discounts! There’s lots to see, more than the average day, and the Tiff Massey exhibit rocked! I’ll definitely be back to check out the rest of the permanent collections another time.
