Wonderful area to walk with pets and others are respectful of the area.
Great place to go for a walk or bike ride. Beautiful views of Alamogordo from atop of the trail. Also, great hiking trails as well. Make sure to have a camera and water. Also, really nice place to check out the stars at night if you live close by or park outside the gates (I noticed they never actually close the gates anymore, but it's posted the park is closed at sunset)
Beautiful views, not too difficult of a walk. Great trail for families.
Some great quality time with my girl finding rocks.. even the rain didn't ruin our adventure. .
Awesome place to meditate and watch sunrise and sunset - either from your car, or at the pavilion.
