Dazbog Coffee
What people are saying
I picked a chicken salad sandwich, and a medium glass of iced mocha. The coffee was pretty decent, especially I loved how balanced the sweetness was. The sandwich was very basic, however good. The chicken salad was not too sweet, which I loved.
Staff was nice but there’s a reason Starbucks is so popular even with their over roasted beans. This is a photo over what was supposed to be a 12 oz decaf latte. I watched it being made. The barista let the espresso go long, watered it down, dumped it in this larger cup, dumped in some heated milk, clearly no foam and handed it off. I asked her if she was sure it was decaf and she assured me it was, but after watching her mess up a couple other orders, I’m skeptical. How’s it taste? Not good. For me it’s basically a $6 hand warmer. 😂
They have excellent dark roast coffee. It's actually a dark roast. Not just labeled dark. They have excellent jasmine green tea loose leaf. There was a line but it moved very quickly. The prices were typical for a coffee shop and didn't seem inflated because of their location at the airport.
One of the better vanilla lattes I've had. Coffee was great! Service was good and they were slammed. Wish I had more time to enjoy other items. The bagels however are not good. Definitely not a bagel. More so just bread. I also bought a bag of beans. Pretty good even at home. Prices are comparable to Starbucks which isn't great but when you're a main competitor who makes better coffee you can charge more. I'd go back.
The employees were nice, especially considering I came in right at closing time, which I didn’t realize until I had already ordered. The reason I’m giving the food (drink) 2 stars though is that I ordered an iced matcha latte and they steamed it, then poured the hot milk over the ice so what I got was a lukewarm, watered down matcha latte. Why wouldn’t they just whisk the matcha into the cold milk and then pour it over ice? That makes way more sense and produces a better product. I’m unsure if this is a company standard or if maybe the employee just was new and didn’t know, and I know what it’s like to be trying to close down and have a customer ask you to remake something (super annoying) so I just asked for some extra ice and went on my way.
