Excellent customer service. Normally, the airport shuttle stops running at 11pm. My flight didn’t arrive until 11:15. I emailed to ask for a late pickup and when I came out of the airport, there he was! He had stayed late to pick me up. The hotel was excellent value for the money.
No elevators, initially we were given a second floor room, but my elderly mom have back issues and our luggage was heavy. The room smells like smoke and drugs, they probably need to change the AC filters and wash the curtains and furniture thoroughly. The major problem is toilet in room 126 isn’t not flushing. The guy at the front desk gave me a plunger I guess I’m suppose to plunge after each use. I found this room on Hotel.com. I guess they use this service to sell rooms at a deal. Everyone wants a deal, I don’t care what folks pay because it should still come with quality and have policies in place that are ethical. The agent at hotels.com told me there was nothing they can do because the hotel isn’t willing to refund me so that I can get another room else where, apparently they not willing to offer me maintenance or a plumber, just a plunger. I’m just disgusted about this. They should have just had outhouses here at this location. I don’t see how the hotels.com agent saying he spoke to someone in the hotel who mentioned the problem being resolved when there is nothing documented or established with me about it. I want to know how the toilet is been confirmed resolved when the only person here is the guy who gave me the plunger. The guy who gave me the plunger was working as the front desk person this morning, but yesterday he was cleaning and there was a lady upfront. Please consider these issues in my review. I wish I would have paid more to a bigger hotel name with a bigger reputation on quality.
Customer service wasn’t too bad and the room itself wasnt bad. The room was hot when we arrived, which was to be expected. But only cooled down to what felt like a cool 72 approximately. Stayed for 2 nights and found out that my sheets were blood stained after sleeping in them the first night. The bathroom looked nice until I climbed into the shower on day 2. Looks like they pulled it out of a trailer and installed it into their bathroom. And the entire building was overall nice and clean just hot. It was fine for my stay but I won’t be returning.
The hotel was clean and inexpensive compared to the surrounding hotels that will NOT get any stars from me. Allison was super awesome, she was very friendly and made you feel welcome and was always helpful when needed. I didn't give five stars because one of the housekeepers was not too friendly and only cleaned half the room, who makes up only one bed when the room consists of two beds that were both unmade? Other than that, the stay was very relaxing.
A standard hotel, the staff could be nicer and same with the rooms but you get what you pay for. There was some strange man walking the hotel bothering people and intruding onto a meeting that was happening. There was supposed to be a continental breakfast that is served which there was not, I assume because of the pandemic but there was coffee so that’s something. My room had a mild smell of staleness as if it had been closed off for a while but it seemed mostly clean I still disinfected everything within though. Overall it was an ok stay at best but could have definitely been better . 3/5 overall, might visit again but not likely unless improvements are made.
