This is no longer a Days Inn. It's now called "Alice Western Inn". The facilities are decent, and the new owners are slowly making improvements. The staff are friendly and super attentive to the needs of their guests. We stay here about 6-7 days/month, and have never had a bad experience. And you won't find a decent hotel room at a lower price.
The front desk clerk was awesome! She completely and promptly resolved an issue I had with my room reservation. The family loved the pool and breakfast. The fridge in my room kept my grandbaby's milk cold and fresh which was a plus! The hotel is dated on the inside and the rooms could use a deep cleaning, especially the air conditioner.
It was comfortable enough. The bed was large and the room was clean. Biggest complaint is that this place is severely run down. The lamp shade was cracked. There was absolutely no building security, no room cards needed to get into any of the doors. Cracking walls and shelves were simply held together or covered with caulking. We got a room for non-smoking but the room and the entire first floor reeked of cigarettes. But I will say that the staff was friendly, the breakfast was good, it it is very easy to get to (right off of the highway). The area the hotel sits does not look like much, but drive further into Alice and they have great food (I’d highly recommend King Street Grill), a nice HEB, etc. Overall, I would stay again if I had to. But I’d definitely pick somewhere different next time.
Was checked in right away, very friendly front desk. Room has great amenities, fridge, microwave, tv, bathroom with full size towels. It smells nice and seams clean. Bed and pillows are very comfortable. Covenant location close to the freeway. Overall I would definitely stay again!
I love those days and I absolutely love it the staff are always very sweet never route they go out there way to help you housekeeping is awesome they don’t come beating on your door and the most and very most important thing these people or honest people I left some coins that are very sentimental and valuable in my room Well the owners wife found him and brought it to her husband and he locked it in his office That That showed me that I can trust this hotel and their staff because I’ve never had anything that I’ve left in a room before returned even if it was just a plain T-shirt so if you’re looking for a good place to stay that’s quiet coughed a clean I would definitely refer anyone to those days and analysis and I’d like to say thank you to days in an hours to all the staff and the owners and also housekeeping you guys are awesome . I’d give you 10 stars if I had the option to.
