Store itself was exactly how described by other review sadly. Whew like some of the staff are well… yeah. Could better. My high stars are a shout out to April. Just as said in another review she was so dope and helpful! I would’ve given them 5 but then folks would think the store was great and it wasn’t but she was so all 3 stars go to her!
I always go to CVS because I like the atmospere. The employees are always upbeat and there to assist you. And love the pharmacy. The regulars always know my name and what I need, and have covered me for a couple of nights medication, in the past because I one time lost all the bottles. So they gave me 2 nights supply. I highly recommend the whole team.
Instead of having conversations about why your coworker doesn’t work on Saturdays and you have to, make sure the customer receives their prescription. Or perhaps your other coworker that handed you the prescription should’ve let you know that the person that was waiting for it was standing directly in front of you. The customer service here is trash. I don’t care nor do I want to hear about why your coworker isn’t scheduled to work on Saturdays. Take care of business first. This isn’t about race. Business is business. Be professional. Do your job.
April was absolutely amazing! I left my online order at the counter by accident, and I called the next day. She said to come back in and show my receipt so I can get what I ordered with no additional charge. I still couldn’t make it for a few more days. I went yesterday and April and the other female associate said that they found my purchase and have been holding it for me. They didn’t have my phone number to call me and was glad I came in. No one is happier than I am. Thanks to April and the CVS staff! 😊
I recently went to fill a prescription at the pharmacy and experienced the worst possible customer service I can recall in any institution. The first tech at the drop off window took my prescription, lazily said she’d never heard of the medication, and then asked her manager who said the same before coming back to tell me they didn’t have it. I asked politely if she would search for it in the computer, and the tech ignored me, walked back behind the pill sorting counter, and wouldn’t talk to me at all. No desire to help, no communication. I asked to speak with the manager, Kristina Parrilla, who, with an annoyed tone, came to the consultation window to state they didn’t have the medication. When she noticed I had a coupon in my hand for it, she said in a condescending tone, “Is that a coupon? Why didn’t you just give them the coupon with the prescription? Are you just trying to make our jobs harder?” When I told her this wasn’t how to speak to a customer, she said “it was a joke,” then went back to the computer before finding the medication in the system. She then tried to make an excuse that the tech couldn’t read the name of the medication and that’s why they didn’t help in the first place, when in fact, the medication was very legible on the Rx, I had verbally given them the name of the medicine and tried to discuss with the tech who ignored me. When I informed Kristina about the rude experience with the tech, she said it was “cultural differences,” and tried to fault me for not handing them the coupon at the start. She then made an excuse about them being overworked. This all could have been avoided by simply saying, “We can’t read the name on the prescription, can you clarify the name,” followed by typing a single word in their computer system. What a terrible, terrible experience. This CVS and the pharmacy staff should be ashamed of themselves. My only mistake was asking them to fill a prescription and was ignored and disrespected for it. Lesson learned.
