This hotel is fine, but has lots of room for improvement. The breakfast buffet stands out as a particular bad value, likely aimed at guests on an expense account. Mediocre food for around $30/person. Scrambled eggs were overcooked. Coffee was terrible. About what your would expect from a motel breakfast, but not free with the room. They do have an omelet station, but I don't think that justifies the price. Combine this with the daily parking fees, and you're paying almost $100 more per night. We went out for breakfast after the first morning, but then you're trading convenience for value. The rooms were adequate, although there were unpleasant smells in the hallway and room. Our sheets had a small crusty bit of (hopefully) food on them when we arrived and after having them replaced, a pillow case had what seemed to be a makeup stain on it. The lighting in the room is very dim. The pool was closed in July of 2024, which didn't bother me but may be of note. The Crystal City area is very pleasant and walkable. The hotel is immediately adjacent to a Metro stop.
Stayed a week during a conference in D.C. Conveniently located via an indoor tunnel to the subway/metro. Close to airport. Great check-in staff. Nice room. Free laundry machines available for guests. Enjoyed the hotel catering during the event (especially the crab cakes). Had a neighbor noise complaint (it was 2 am) and it was addressed quickly. Bonus: a CVS pharmacy is only a very walkable 0.5 mile away in case you want snacks or forget laundry detergent.
Service was excellent. Check in was friendly and helpful. I believe she said her name was Keisha, but very nice and helpful. Rooms were comfortable. Hotel is in a good location, close to Reagan airport and good restaurants within easy walking distance. Shuttle runs every 30 minutes, making it a great option if you are arriving later in the day.
What an unexpected pleasure to find such a nice hotel right next to the airport and convenient to central Washington. We had a very warm welcome from Lorenzo at the front desk. Also, thank you to Femke for helping with checkout issues. Excellent elite member treatment. Deleslie at the M Lounge was also very nice and helpful. It is awesome that the lounge is open 24/7 with soft drinks, fruit, and excellent automatic coffee machines. Breakfast is very nice too. It shares a buffet with the main restaurant. Rooms are nice with some excellent furniture touches. Housekeeping is very helpful. Thank you, Damaris. Not only that, but management is very helpful and responsive. In particular, thank you to Christopher.
Stayed over the weekend to visit DC. Very conveniently located with underground parking and indoor access via tunnel to the metro (yellow/blue line). Very reasonable room rates. Modern, clean, and comfortable rooms. Good service.
