I love my cruise n comfort 12v air conditioning! I bought a van almost entirely so that I could travel more easily and comfortably with my dog—and this 12v air conditioning is absolutely essential to that goal. It’s insanely effective, does not take up precious roof space that is better used for solar panels and whatnot, and the customer service is top notch.

I have a 2015 Sprinter 170 and My Cruise n comfort has been with me every step of the way. Sometimes self made problems but this unit has never skipped a lick. Customer service is always there to keep me in check. Ha, Chris at Cruise n comfort says im old school with a unit 8 years old, as long as it keeps chugging, im good with that. Thanks Cruise n Comfort!!

I have a Ram Promaster with a 24V DC AC unit and this thing absolutely BLASTS!! I was also able to get really great help from the owner while I was in Yuma and I needed to get the AC charged before the first use.. They were kind enough to call some shops in the area and find a place that could service the AC for me! Excellent service and excellent quality!

I am a DIY vanlifer with a Ram Promaster 2500 high roof. I built my van from the ground up and on the first year of traveling did not have an Air Conditioner. My main reason was that it's typically energy inefficient and consumes precious roof real estate. Cruise N Comfort solves both of these problems with it's mini split setup! As a 12 volt system and being made in the US it's high quality and easy on the batteries. I was able to charge the unit with freon without issue (once i found out about a blunt tip adapter suggested by Chris - The owner of the company). Using a meat thermometer, the output air is 42 degrees up to 50 depending on the day, so the 8000 BTU is just what I needed. It can be hard to get ahold of Chris, so when you get him in the phone, have all your questions ready. UODATE: 2 YEARS LATER: THIS THING IS SOLID and if you work with Chris to dial it in, it lasts forever basically. Still cold AF!!!

Cruise N Comfort is hands down the best DC air conditioning available for your van/truck/whatever. I spent more time and money than I care to think about trying to get poorly made kingtech units to work and always ended up disappointed. My Icebox works like a charm and when I had a hard time tracking down a refrigerant leak (caused by my bad crimp die) Chris went above and beyond staying late to help me get my system running right. These units are not cheap but they are worth every dollar.
