This stay started off with 2 extremely professional & friendly ladies checking me in (Sorry I did not get their names). There was a small issue and they came up with a solution to get me checked in fast and resolve the issue after. The room was an older design but still very clean. The only complaint is the same one I have at most hotels, the mattress could be updated (but I have a very bad back and am a bit picky). Went down to the restaurant to get a bite to eat and it was very clean and jumping. The bartender (Joseph) was also extremely friendly and made sure everyone there was taken care of in a timely and efficient manner. Always with a smile on his face. Shuttle driver is absolutely amazing! When I checked in they told me I'd be dropped off at one location and have to make my way to the airport, this gentleman told me he's taking me straight to the terminal and dropping me there. This service is absolutely outstanding! I would say if you're coming to New Jersey through the Newark airport, drive right past that Marriott for all the (you can check my review of them for reasons why) and book your room here! I would definitely recommend this hotel for your stay!

Had a lovely stay at the Crowne Royal, the room was big, the bed was comfy, and the view was better than expected. I was slightly disappointed that there were hair shavings on the toilet, they didn't flush properly and the shower was lacking water pressure. But all in all, it's a decent hotel for the price, and I'd have no issues staying again. The shuttle to the airport was also very convenient.

The rooms were clean and they had ample amenities. We were so stressed because of the cancelled flights and we booked the wrong date but the staff at the front desk (Jerissa) was so nice and helpful. We were truly at our breaking point but she was so nice and helpful when it came to making sure that the rest of our stay went smoothly.

First impression- the hotel could use some renovation. The check-in staff was not friendly. The room was dark/outdated. The location is great. Especially since they offer the EZ Way long-term parking right at the hotel parking lot area; made my travel less challenging.

Forget it if your flight is delayed and you try to check in after 12 am. We took the airport shuttle at 12:10 and arrived at the hotel at 12:20, and they had already allocated our rooms to someone else. No rooms on reserve. I find it hard to believe that there were enough people from 12-12:20 (when the majority of their customers were on our shuttle) for them to allocate our rooms to. They sold our rooms before midnight imo. Shuttle was good and the driver was helpful. Long wait at the check in line despite only 2-3 customers ahead of me who already had bookings.
