Absolutely Terrible - Avoid this place - Waited over 2 hours for the shuttle at the airport. Called the hotel multiple times and was told the shuttle was "on its way" every time. - The front desk claimed they called me to let me know my room was ready. I received no calls or messages, and my phone's call history showed no missed calls. - Tried to speak to the manager Andre, who was hiding in his office. The receptionist said he was the GM but refused to give his name. GM was incredibly rude, claiming the shuttle service was run by different vendor and accusing me of not calling, which was not true. He even threatened to call the police if I didn't leave. - The bathroom had no ventilation leaving it steamy and smelly. - The room was dust nightmare. We tried cleaning it, but dust kept settling back in. - Air conditioning was obnoxiously loud. -The bed was ridiculously high, and the bathroom was so tiny you had to climb into the bathtub to close the door. -The hotel is in a grim industrial area- completely inconvenient. - I had booked a night at the hotel for after my cruise, but after the first night, I decided to cancel my stay upon my return from the cruise and still haven't received my $485 refund. Overall: - The staff were rude. - If cleanliness doesn't brother you, and you just want a cheap place to lay down, this might be the place for you. -If you care about cleanliness and customer service and like to explore DO NOT STAY at Crowne Plaza. Better Alternative: -Stayed at the W Fort Lauderdale after my cruise. It was stunning, conveniently located near the beach, and offered a great beach boardwalk experience. The price was similar, but the quality was light-years ahead.

My two kids and I stayed here just so that we can be close to the airport because our flight was early in the morning. Earlier that day, Crowne Plaza took $1 and then $99 for a security deposit. That was fine. When I arrived the price for 1 night was charged to my card. Days later I look in my banking app and the $1 hold was released but not the $99. Also, the transaction for the price of the 1 nights stay was no longer pending, it's a permanent transaction now. But Crown Plaza has another transaction for 1 nights stay pending on my account. I tried to call to ask why is there a hold for the price of the room, I was met with an attitude. I was talking to the person at the front desk and she transferred me to the manager mid sentence. So rude. I called back and she answered the phone "Yeah" like she didn't want to be bothered. Very rude!!! If you don't want games being played with your money, don't stay here. Don't get me wrong, the hotel is very nice and clean. But they are playing games with people's credit/debit cards!!!

Convenient to cruise port. Check in was a breeze Melissa at the front was quite helpful. Their pool was being repaired and we asked if there was another location. She called another holiday inn and they were able to accommodate us. Stopped in the bar for a drink before dinner and the BT was terrific. Breakfast in the morning was fabulous. Loved the avocado toast. 😋 oh, and the beds were comfy and the towels were fluffy

Needed a place to stay as my flight had been rescheduled to the next day. Picked this place as it had a shuttle service and was aonly a mile from the airport. Only one person manning the lobby desk, so check-in was a short wait, but staff was very friendly. The room was clean with modern furnishings. I especially liked how high up the beds were off the ground. It feels extra luxurious. Shuttle service was timely. Overall, no real complaints. Would book here again if I found myself in Fort Lauderdale.

Large rooms and comfortable bed and airport transport is convenient! The pool was not open due to crack tiles and that was disappointing as the water was 92 degrees daily. Management did not offer any compensation or alternative for this inconvenience which is why I rated service a 3. The bathroom amenities were lacking compared to other hotels I’ve stayed at.
