We had our wedding rehearsal dinner here. I dealt directly with the owner the whole time we planned our event. Super friendly staff. I’m not a catfish person, but I got it and it was delicious. I have yet to have a better tasting catfish since!
A local family owned restaurant with a cajun flair. Avoid overspending for nothing at Callaway and just come here. Ranch, blue cheese and remoulade are made from scratch. The remoulade was different than expected but if they sold that alone I would have bought a jar. The tartar sauce was not for me. The catfish could have used a little more time being cooked for us although I hear it's a favorite. The cole slaw and blackened shrimp were great. The homemade bread pudding with whiskey sauce was so good but with raisins it would have been even better. Sweet Tea was just want I needed after a day in the local gardens.
Great place for dinner! Small and homie and great customer service. The girls there were hilarious and very welcoming (Abby!). Food was great, I had the gumbo and brabant potatoes (with ranch). Service was quick and we were checked on frequently. I would definitely visit again and recommend anyone visiting Pine Mountain or Callaway to check it out.
Such a cute place outside of Callaway Gardens. We all had a cheese burger and it was great. It was hard to eat because it was so big. I'd definitely recommend it and come back again.
Even though they don’t have a gluten free menu our waitress Sabrina was able to guide me through the menu. The fish is fried with Zatarans fish fry and cooked in a separate fryer. They also cooked my fries in that fryer when I asked. We will definitely visit again!! Great sweet tea and family atmosphere.
