We have been staying at Courtyard hotels for more than 20 years, and have NEVER had an experience like this. The powers that be should be ashamed to let this hotel carry its name. The toilet in our room was broken, as in, the seat fell off of the bowl. There was black mold all over the bathtub, tiled walls, and grab bar. The shower curtain was so damaged, it was held up by two rings at the top of the cloth. The room smelled like wet dog. Lights didn't work. I could go on. I expressed my concerns upon check out, and was told, "We will look into it." Needless to say, we will not be staying in that hotel again.
When the entire plane system crashed and left me stranded in North Carolina my father booked a hotel for me to sleep at. By 2 am the point I reached the hotel they refused to let me enter the room as I am 19. The staff wouldn’t allow for any exceptions when this is not the policy for most Marriotts. They then proceeded to leave me on the street of a city I have never been while I had a paid room in their hotel. Incredible to see a place with such lack of morality.
Beware! This hotel charged me for a damaged TV after I checked out claiming I destroyed it. Actually I never used the tv. It appeared fine. When I contacted the hotel they first said they would look into it and call me back the next day. They didn’t. The general manager has been ducking my emails and calls for two weeks plus. Not gonna let it go! This property is heavily used because of the airport. The rooms are generally serviceable but frequently have items worn out or broken. It is worn out. Management is not helpful but they will give you lip service to correct things. As a top level Marriott customer (titanium) I’ve stayed here often because it’s convenient to the airport but no more!
Thank you to the nice gentleman that help me on Friday afternoon. He was very polite and proactive. There was a long line for check in and he was able to manage the line and help me to get to my destination. Thank you always with a big smile happy to see him every time I stop my this hotel.
Would not recommend this hotel. I've been a loyal Marriott member for 30 plus years. I had a issue when checking in i was given the standard 10.00 food credit or points, i chose the food credit and used it the next day. i had a super early check out and didn't pay attention to my bill until my credit card bill came in. I was charged 20.00 on my final bill from the restaurant. I called and left 3 messages for Mario their Hotel director and never received a call back from him to discuss the charge. Very poor service on his part! Will not be going back..
