The staff has been fantastic, very friendly. The rooms are amazing, super clean. The shuttle from the airport took a while, but that's only because I didn't know which curbside pickup to stand by.. I know now. UPDATE: I was given a platinum elite voucher for each night of my stay. The desk staff only processed one of the vouchers and then charged me for the food on multiple occasions. I wouldn't have purchased the marketplace food if I knew the vouchers didn't show up on my receipt and I would be charged. For the rooms, the last day of my stay the room had chemical fragrant smell. I had severe allergies inside the room due to this. Outside the hotel was no problem, cleared up. Went back to the room and my allergies flared up again until I opened the door to my room. No way to open windows to air out the room, so be prepared if you have allergies when you stay here. Removed some room stars due to the lack of clean air..
I called the desk at this place 36 hours before my stay (but 6 hours after the cancellation "deadline") to change my reservation to a Marriott at the correct airport (DCA). They told me too bad we are keeping your money. And that's fine they can have their policies. But if you're considering it, I'd suggest you skip this place and stay at the Marriot Gateway in Crystal City-- it's comparably priced and the people their are much, much nicer than the folks here at Dulles. I am going to be coming to DC twice a month for work and I would have stayed at this place regularly depending on my flights, but given how unreasonable their policies are -- their choice to not provide a refund will result in my business going to another Marriott. An expensive policy for them.
What you would expect from a Marriott Courtyard. Clean, friendly staff, good location to visit local businesses. Recommend a car as there is not much in walking distance. Is about a mile walk to some restaurants, a CVS, and a few other stores.
This hotel is dated. It’s in a great location if you need to be close to Dallas airport. Lunch was not the best and the service was poor. Also their concierge room is a joke. No food in the morning. Only coffee and yogurt.
Typical Courtyard. The staff is very friendly, the only problem I had was the shuttle took an hour to get to me. I had to call twice. Which is why I didn’t give 5 stars. Other than that, good experience. Happy Trails!
