Nice/pleasant staff. Roomy rooms; comfortable beds and pillows. Excellent water pressure in the shower. There is a small fridge in the room. Location is okay. Not near a Metro but there’s a bus stop nearby. There’s a small park nearby too with a workout gym and beach volleyball courts. Sometimes housekeeping was loud in the hallway. The workout space is spacious and nice. There is no pool. There is no complimentary breakfast. There was no lotion but body wash, shampoo and conditioner in the shower area. There IS a complimentary shuttle to the DCA Airport.
This score is heavily impacted by the room itself. Staff is great, nice location, good food onsite. However, unfortunately, my room has a very weird smell. Specifically, that of cat pee. When I went to the front desk, I was told all rooms were sold out. Fair enough although she didn't check. The phone in my room also didn't work and the sink water pressure was super low. I'll still stay again but yeah, really unfortunate to have a smelly room the whole time and not being able to just stay at another hotel due to lack of availability elsewhere.
This is how this property and general manager treats folks when flights are canceled and they can’t get there. The hotel is good, rooms are not big but they are cleaned and beds are super comfortable. The attention of the front desk is good as well. Breakfast is okey but expensive in my opinion and dishes are not enough for what you are paying. They don’t accept cash, it’s something I don’t understand.
So I recently stayed here I live in Asia and over there hospitality is the number one thing well I can tell you Lou G is a hospitality specialist. She works the front desk at this courtyard Marriott, and she is management material. I’m not gonna go into details, but my issue was taken care of quickly professionally, and like it was the only thing on earth that was going to get fixed. She is one of a kind. They broke. The managers mold when they made her. Besides that the hotel was stunning in a beautiful place the bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever stayed in a courtyard, Marriott, extremely clean, and again all staff were professional
