Coopers Restaurant
What people are saying
We stayed at the hotel after a late flight before continuing on to our holiday. We were more than a little peckish after flying from the UK to Atlanta, then on to Knoxville and were very happy to see that the restaurant was still open. The food was so good that we made sure to stop back in for breakfast the following morning where I had my first ever biscuits and gravy! The food and salad bar in the evening were a delight, but the breakfast buffet was something else. There was a little something for everyone, and you will definitely not leave hungry. A well deserved five stars, and I would stay at the hotel again just for the food!
I recently had to get to the airport ahead of a winter storm for fear the road conditions would deteriorate. So, this place was my primary food source for a couple of days. I was served and greeted by Abby and two different Brittanys, I believe, as well as a host of other ladies, whose names I didn't get, during my stay. They embodied southern hospitality, checking on me regularly with smiles and kind words. Each one of the dishes were delicious, the salad bar and adjacent buffet were kept neat and clean, and I even ordered room service once. Pace yourself and save room for dessert, as the portions are rather generous. Prices were fairly reasonable for the items I ordered. Excellent experience all around!
I popped in here one evening to try their BBQ chicken quesadilla, and it didn't disappoint. I'm kind of a connoisseur of chicken quesadillas, and this was one of my favorite. Considering the place was practically deserted, I was expecting my waitress to be a little more attentive, but other than that, I really liked the place. They also have a salad bar which is included with the entrees. Whenever I'm in the mood for BBQ chicken quesadilla again, I will be back.
The so called “filet mignon” is a hunk of alpo dog food that’s been meat glued and tastes like a 3 day old Salisbury steak. Do yourself a favor and look it up. I’ve had and processed a lot of meat personally and this is not a filet mignon. Sweet potato was undercooked and hard. When I told them about it and asked if that was actually filet mignon I was told yes it was(sent it back with no offer of returning any of the $43 spent on this cow patty). If you stay at the Hilton, eat elsewhere.
Bianca & Ashley are the best! The food OMG so 🔥 I had the BEST fish and chips (compliments to the Chef & staff please !!) w/awesome salad bar (their Ranch is High Level) and their coffee was so good I just drank it black !! Their prices are so reasonable! Coming here to eat & have some time away from that tiny overpriced Knoxville Airport LITERALLY made me cry I was so happy! Coopers is located inside the Hilton about 20 YARDS AWAY FROM AIRPORT y’all should come here & be happy like me. Thanks Bianca & staff ! (visit date Feb 7, 2024 after missing two separate flights in two different days:)
