What a beautiful bookstore with such a generous inventory! With time to kill waiting for a delayed flight & a book in my carry-on I had finished hours before, I was so happy to find that Compass had a huge number of books on my want-to read list (not just the limited amount of trending/newer titles that most of the smaller book sections in airport gift stores have). If you’re looking for your next read ahead of travel at SFO, please give them a visit - they also have a store in Terminal 2!

A wonderful bookstore you’d expect in a town you love. Staff are bibliophiles and write reviews of the favorites to post on the shelves. I purchased my first manga book: Cat + Gamer by Wataru Nadatani and it was delightful!

Stopped by to check out some books for my son. Had a good collection of books but couldn’t make a decision of what to buy. Will be back.

Great selection of books for a small store! They had so much in there I was surprised and impressed. The staff were super friendly and helpful and even helped me find the book I was looking for in the sale section as well, it was perfect they had it since I’d just finished the book before on the plane. Now I can read the next one! 😊
