What people are saying
One of the best comic book stores to visit! They offer a fantastic variety of comics, figures, playing cards, and more. Their prices are exceptionally reasonable, especially if you're on a budget. It's rare to find a place that doesn’t charge exorbitant prices for graphic novels, figures, or cards. Ness and Brandon are among the friendliest people I've ever met. Initially, I came for the comics, but I found it hard to leave because of their warm nature and our engaging conversations! They truly create an enjoyable atmosphere in the store. Brandon, I hope your surgery goes well, and whether you open a new store or sell exclusively online, I'll definitely be a supporter!
This small shop in the southeastern metro area does something I’ve never seen in a comic shop before. Not in big shops, not in small ones, either. It makes this shop utterly unique. Look through the photos I’ve posted and see if you can guess what makes this store so different. Do you see it? Can you tell? There are no long boxes! Brandon, the owner of this one-person operation, eschews those long, white cardboard boxes that you find in every other comic book store in the Denver area. Even stores that have custom-made shelves or drawers still have long boxes, and usually a lot of them. Not this pace! Older comics are bagged, boarded, and priced - and then put on display. On racks, like the new comics! It’s an intriguing way to do things. The older, un-boxed back issues are well-selected, presenting comics that have historical, artistic, or cultural interest. I looked at a few; they seemed in good condition and fairly priced. There are few hardcovers, but a good number of trade paperbacks. There is a very good-sized all-ages section right at the front of the store, near the counter, and also near a number of collectible Disney statuettes and figurines. There's also a life-sized Winder Woman statue that is very lifelike. It's quite striking! This store has a lot of Warhammer figures. I don't know what those are, really, but the figures combined with the big, open tables leads me to guess that this is a store that hosts gamers. It will be interesting to see how this store develops. The owner already has shown - forgive this pun! - that he is willing to think outside the box.
The people here are so kind and are genuinely cool. My kids love getting Pokémon cards from this place because the people here are always so nice to them. The only downside is that this place specializes in older comics and new releases are few, but we come here and buy older stuff all the time because their stock is always rotating 👍
Very nice people, but comic book prices can be way off for example they have a DC Comics Action Comics No. 367 at 60.00 that is crazy overpriced just compare to ebay
Great shop. Owner and staff are super chill and helpful. They had the random It's Jeff comic I was looking for. Saved me from having to order online. Thanks!
