I lost my wallet and was pretty sure I had left it here. The staff I called on the phone and then the people I met when I went in person were all super friendly and helpful! Big shouts to Stephen and co (he's the only name tag I saw sorry)!!! In terms of theater quality, it's good. Never had any issues here with bad sound or picture quality. The staff keeps things well run and clean. Everyone is always super nice. It does seem like a kind of older building, but that's nothing that I can actually complain about El oh el. Highly recommend!
Theater is a fun experience. I've been going here every now and then the last 10 years or so. Very clean. Unfortunately the seats are getting worn and squeaky, but overall I very much enjoy movies here. The service has been really good. Everyone has been nice every time.
I have watched many movies (normal and IMAX) here and have had good experiences - the most recent movies I watched here were Bramayugam and Premalu in February 2024. The theatre is large and has a very good selection of movies, including international ones (which usually get good showtimes). The seats are very comfortable and reclining. The IMAX seats do not recline, however, and seem to be old and outdated. If booking tickets online there are convenient kiosks to pick them up from. The food here is good. The only negative experience that I have had here occurred in October 2023. I was going to the IMAX first-day-first show of Leo - apparently, the non-IMAX version of the movie was played on the IMAX screen, which didn’t play properly. The theatre staff were notified and fixed the issue, and the movie started 30 minutes late. The interval was also skipped, presumably due to time constraints with the delay. This seems like an isolated incident - overall, this theatre is a great theatre to watch movies at.
Great theatre. I love that the staff is honest and friendly. I wish I could give 10 stars for the fact that they have a section for trash/compost/recycle!!! It says a lot about an establishment when they care about the environment. & I really appreciate that they offer movies for all types of different cultures.
Was in Ann Arbor for my son's hockey tournament and went to go see Deadpool and Wolverine. Staff was very helpful and polite. Theater was massive and had plenty of availability to see the movie on the opening weekend. Theater seats all reclined and were very comfortable. Picture and sound was great too. Due to the time we just went to a regular viewing and not the IMAX. We ended up spending almost $100 for the three of us with tickets, popcorn, three drinks, and candy. To me that's outrageous!!! The most disappointing thing was that they didn't have Pepsi. Our local theater serves Pepsi and it would have only cost us around $60 to see that movie with the food.
