This place is a total joke! It’s NEVER open it’s always expensive and over all the owner or manager from this theater always says he is here from Tuesday to Sunday and that’s not true. I called early asking for movie times and drove over an our, I’m in Lund to bring my family to watch a movie and it’s closed right now it’s Tuesday. I got here at 7:00 and it’s close, it’s 8:00 now and my family is upset because no one answers the phone and it’s been an hour since. 😔
This theater is outstanding and takes you back to a time when going to the movie was a treat. This is a family owned theater with decor and architecture from the 1940's. The owners were great people and we talked with them for a bit and they made me feel like we were family. Great deals on movie goodies and the seating was excellent. It's good to see a hometown business succeeding. If you are in Ely Nevada for a few nights, stop over for show and enjoy a night back in time. Great place, great people.
The inside is great. The exterior could definitely use some sprucing up. All the employees were super nice, and everything inside was clean. They don't always have family movies or even up to date ones, but prices are fair if it is a movie you are looking for.
This is a really neat theater from the 40's. The owner was so nice and let me look at the projector equipment.
